Jaffna cinema short Film Kiruthigan elavu

The short film Elovu was recently screened in Eros Theater in Colombo. This movie was directed by Kana Varo and the cast of the movie were Kiruthigan and Jenanee.

A large number of people along with  political leaders, journalists, scholars came to see the movie. This short film Elovu as made in Jaffna with actor Kiruthigan, actress Jenanee as well as many artist were involved. Cinematographer Roshan Nirosh, editing by Mathavan Maheswaran and music by Iroshan Puviraj.

Kana Varo after releasing this short movie Elovu in Jaffna has continued to screen in France, and will continue to screen at Colombo, London, Canada, Norway, Hatton, Batticaloa, Trincomalee and many more places.

This movie had received positive response from the critics and this significant work of the documentary film has been produced in Jaffna.

The plot of the short film Elavu is about a perverse desire of a Jaffna family, women’s decision-making about marriage, the father-daughter relationship has been released in DVD format also. We congalulate the youth people from our area such as Kiruthigan , Varo who have achieve praise from worldwide for their cinematic work.
